So I tested HPV positive on a smear a while ago. Last few months I’ve developed some what I believe are genital warts caused by the HPV. They are flat and not too obvious, but there are 5 or 6 on labia and they are making me feel self conscious. I’ve made an appt with STD clinic but am wondering if anyone has been through this, or works in sexual health.
Are they likely to offer me medication to apply at home to shrink them and hopefully get rid of them..? Or is it more common they refuse to do anything?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give as I would like to go to the appt knowing what to expect.
