Flu and severe hip/ thigh pain

Have a mega dose of the flu. On about day 2 I developed a pain in my left thigh, haunch and it's got steadily worse - it's intermittent rather than continuous but severe enough to wake me at night.

Has anyone had this? Am on day 5/6 and still v unwell. Bloody flu

Yes!
I don't have outright flu, but have a temp with a bit of fever, generally feeling crap but the aches are in my hips and thighs.
