I have just been searching for Measles and the third link I tried gave me this useful advice
''FAQs (025)

The dictionary describes 'sin' as:

"transgression of God's law; the state of human nature in which the self is estranged from God; an offense against religious or moral law".

Notice sin is both an action and a state. We can commit sin by breaking the ten commandments, for example. But it is also the state of being estranged (separated) from God.
Measles spots It can be illustrated by an illness in which we get spots or a rash. The spots tell everyone that we have the illness but we had the illness even before the spots appeared. The spots are caused by the illness. So too with sin; when we commit sins (lie, steal, murder, hate, etc) we know that we are sinners, but we had the disease of sin (estrangement from God; rebellion towards God) even before we took a sinful action.

Jesus died to forgive us for our actions and to deal with the disease of sin in our lives. For more click on the link Why did Jesus die? in the right hand column.''

i once googled to find out why ds was doing white poos.turns out hes a dog from the 80's.ive not googled a health issue since.i just ask on mn!

Buda · 17/03/2008 10:55

Why was your DS doing white poos then cheesesarnie - mine is doing pale ones atm!

On the other hand re googling medical stuff - my Mum has been getting quite bad recently - she is terrified she has either Parkinsons, motor neurone disease or Alzeimers. So i googled Alzeimers as she seemed to be ticking a lot of boxes for that. Happened to find a link to cases where a cholesterol medication can cause Alzeimers - the same medication my Mum is on - have done some research and we now think that that could very well be why she is so bad. She stopped taking it on Monday and by Thursday some of her symptoms had improved. (Disclaimer: do not suddenly stop taking any medication without medical advice)

my dd5 was doing pale poos for a week or so, she had a bit of a bug one day, sickness thing. Then had this weird paley poo for about the week after.

Buda · 17/03/2008 11:54

Thanks piratecat - that sounds like it - he was vomity on Thurs - now complaining of tummy ache and has pale poos. Is at school though!

cheesesarnie · 17/03/2008 12:23

well it was pale diarhoa that the gp finally said after lots of visits with him saying its fine-that it was due to him having intolerance to cows milk produce(wasnt just the poo other things too).or he thought, however many visits later they still didnt test him just kept saying they think hes probably intolerant.hes not had cows milk produce for over a year and has not had it since and im now looking at paying for testing privatly at health food shop.

Buda · 17/03/2008 12:36

Aah. That could be part of prob here too. DS was allergic to dairy - had excema and was off dairy completely for a year. He is now pretty much fine and he has dairy - doesn't drink milk though. But recently he has started having cereal with milk and on Wed night he had a bowl of Cocopops with milk and then a hot chocolate - which I did think may have caused the sickness.

OK - will cut dairy out again for a while!

Buda · 17/03/2008 12:45

Well have just googled pale poos and will take him to doc if he does it again!

sparklyfairypie · 17/03/2008 15:27
