OMG! *I* have a temperature!!! Is there flu going atm?

I have 38 in temperature. Very unusual, I hardly ever get a fever, this is a lot for me.

I also have heavy feeling in my chest, and a terrible cough. Both my sons have bronchitis and tonsillitis. I reckon I could have the same, but I also have lower back ache.

Is it flu season?

Yes sounds like a chest infection. You might need a/bs, I had my first one of these in January, it wiped me out for a day or two! I'd forgotten what it was like to be really poorly like that.

Oooh we've all had the same here - The cough lasted for a week or so - it drove me mad.

i have just had Proper Flu for the first time ever - unbelievably foul (inc temp of >40 degrees )

i now have a chest infection to top it off

I dont have time to be ill....

I've got Proper Flu for the first time ever as well and have been surprised by just how horrid it is. Am feeling slightly better this morning and it's the 5th day.

It is not flu I have after all. It is an ear infectin and a chest infection.... I feel dreadful.
