I went to have my coil fitted yesterday. Unfortunately, as I had a CS with DD (and no contractions or dilation at all) the doctor couldn't fit it She tried, bless her - it hurt so much I thought I was going to throw up.
Anyway, the long and the short of it is that I'm being refered to a Gynae. to have it fitted with a local anaesthetic. DH is not happy about this and is worrying about me.
Does anyone have any experience of this procedure they are willing to share?
