Cough and wheeze month worried now

I have had a cough and a wheeze/crackle for over a month now, last Friday I developed a small fever (36.6-36.7) and had bad body aches and a general feeling of unwellness so I went to the out of hours doctor who said early stages of pneumonia, really bad fluid and gave anti biotics. I'm due to finish tomorrow so have 3 left all together and I feel no better except the fever has gone back to my normal range and heart rate is back to normal (before it was stuck over 100) but I am so so wheezy and cough is still there, also do feel very tired and sore. I'm concerned that the anti biotics haven't worked or maybe it was viral to begin with? I'm asthmatic but very mild so unsure why I'm still so wheezy as I never get this with asthma anyway! I'm just looking for advice or anyone who has had this for a while? I don't think it was pneumonia to begin with...maybe it's flu?

Go back to the GP.

A cough and wheeze can remain for a long time after pneumonia, but if you have concerns get rechecked. Get signed off work.

Will have to be out of hours now as I'm still at my mums, I'm so congested with flem - I have bad post nasal drip and I can feel it in my chest too 😭
