Tibial plateau fracture

Just wondering if anyone on here has had this fracture. Now just going into my 6th week. No surgery needed and described as "subtle". I had a knee brace supplied by the NHS but stopped wearing it two days ago as my knee was no longer painful. Have been sticking to the rules ie no driving, using ice and doing some basic exercises recommended by the physio. Getting out of bed in the morning is a bit challenging. No problem with putting the foot to the ground but feels a bit unsteady and stiff. All I can say about the leg is no pain but a stiffness. Can you remember when you were allowed to drive? We have a manual and its my left leg. Have been housebound since this happened and can't wait to be out and about if only to get some Christmas shopping. Also did the fall and fracure affect your confidence. It certainly has mine and I know I need to work on this.
