Small bit of bleeding after colposcopy/ biopsy

Had colposcopy 2 days ago and they took a biopsy. Had hpv for years and can't shift it. Second colposcopy in five years but first one they took no biopsy as everything looked good. Smear actually showed no abnormal cells but they took biopsy to check.

Had a bit of discharge since 2 days ago then today a bit of bleeding. I was quite active all day, walking a lot and lifting my baby. Could this have irritated the area? It's not loads of blood but definitely isn't period. I don't want to panic - she might not have cauterized it well as I was crying so much (Ptsd from a miscarriage) but surely it will heal in a few days...

I had one on Wednesday and I've had a bit of bleeding and funky colored discharge. They told me it's normal and it's just then biopsy site healing. I had a friend who bled for ages after hers. I wouldnt worry. I had mine Wednesday and I've just been spotting. Seems to be trailing off now

It's perfectly normal to bleed after colposcopy and a biopsy, they should have given you info on this & a leaflet.

It’s very normal… don’t worry . X
