I know this might sound silly but DS keeps putting his hands up and holding the sides of his head! He isnt crying or dosen't seem in any kind of distress though. Anyone seen this before or have any idea why he may be doing it?

is he tired? - or is that more rubbing his ears?

I think its just because he can - ds did this for about a month, we always thought of it as his head discovery phase.

I wouldn't worry if he isn't rubbing ears or anything.

Doesn't seem to be his ears....might be when hes tired though, I'll keep my eyes open as to when he does it, thanks for answering.

my 8 month ds does this when he's very tired

MrsBigDrumsADrumming · 20/12/2004 13:20

ds is starting this now at 3.5 months... I think it's simply because now he can. Does it more when he's tired, probably trying to snuggle up to himself
