Hi, am feeling really cross and would like the opinion of any dentists out there. My 5 year old daughter went to the dentist 2 and a half weeks ago and I was told everything was fine. However, this week she then had a check from the community dental service at school and has come home with a letter saying that she has decay in 3 or more of her milk teeth. I am really cross, how could the dentist she saw 2 weeks ago not had spotted this? Should I go back (to someone else in the same practice)and point this out or go somewhere else (trouble is I don't know of any recommended good dentists in the area). My other daughter (3) had her teeth checked at the same time and now I am wondering whether I should get her teeth re-checked as well. Any advice / thoughts from dentists much appreciated!

sometimes milk teeth have decay in them but not enough to warrent any treatment? You should speak to your dentsit though.
