My ds is well overdue for his MMR booster and I am trying to schedule it so any reactions don't conincide with holidays, starting new school etc. He sufferred quite badly from all his jabs since birth - high temp, feeling rough etc so am interested to know if the side effects are the same for the booster?

Anyone any thoughts

bumping because I'm wondering the same thing

It's exactly the same vaccine so if he had a reaction to the first MMR it's likely he will have a similar reaction to the second.

Ds had his yesterday (no ill effects so far) & I was told similar reactions to first time (ie 6/10 days as most frequent side effects, some at 3 weeks, small minority at 6wks.

Thanks funnyhaha - well thats something to be looking forward to then!
