sick toddler - what would you feed them?

toast or sausage and chips? ds is 2 and hasn't eaten all day

Plain toast. Nothing fatty or containing meat or dairy.

Bananas, Rice, Toast and another couple of things I can't remember are usually recommended.

If they have been vomiting then something like toast/cracker/rice cake and take it from there.

Otherwise, I do the chocolate/biscuit/ice cream test. If they refuse them then they really must be feeling rough. If they take it I give it to them as the sugar usually makes them feel a little better and they are more likely to eat something healthy afterwards. HTH

I find dry cheerios usually go down quite well. They're plain and the sugar gives an energy boost.
