Last night i got a really bad headache, well it was more like strong stabbing pains in my head, i went to bed, but i felt like i had sea sickness. So ended up in the toilet for ages being sick, then i started sweating and burning up so much i had no clothes on then all the windows open. eventually went to sleep woke up at 8am this morning. Felt not too bad when i first got up, but slowly im starting to feel ill again. My eyesight is a bit bleary and when i stand up feel like im sea sick again. Any ideas on this???

I'm wondering if it's some sort of migraine, but you really should see a doctor today.

ladette · 10/03/2008 13:05

Was also just about to post exactly what MegaMindy said: sounds like migraine but definitely worth a trip to the doctor. Hope you're feeling better soon.

kekouan · 10/03/2008 13:05

sounds like a migraine - go to the docs, at least they'll be able to give you some proper painkillers.

GreatAuntieWurly · 10/03/2008 13:07

go to the doctors, sounds like meieres (SP??) disease, they will give you an anti-sickness shot or some anti-sickenss tablets and recommed that you get plenty of rest.

Have had a few of these myself. Hope you feel better soon.

GreatAuntieWurly · 10/03/2008 17:38

have you been yet panda??

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 10/03/2008 17:39

Labarynthitis perhaps?

emma1977 · 10/03/2008 19:04

Defo see your GP. Sounds very much like migraine, although could be an ear infection with labyrinthitis.

BTW sounds nothing like Meniere's disease.

pandagirl03 · 10/03/2008 19:05

no couldn't get someone to take me and didn't want to drive with dd in car with me. Headache has just come back, no warning nothing just bang the pain is back, my face is gone really hot again now. feel so crappy.

emma1977 · 10/03/2008 19:09

Driving would be inadvisable.

You really should see someone tonight, especially if the headache has come on that suddenly and is really severe. NHS Direct should be able to tell you where your nearest GP out of hours service or A&E is.

Is there really noone who can take you?

pandagirl03 · 10/03/2008 19:29

no dp is at work till 11pm, we live in gloucester he works in birmingham so no and dd is in bed

kekouan · 10/03/2008 23:41

it's not labyrinthitis - gods..you know it when that hits... my deepest sympathy if that is the case (but I don't think it is)

ladette · 11/03/2008 17:23

Hi Pandagirl, how are you doing? Did you manage to get to the doctors?

pandagirl03 · 11/03/2008 18:03

Hiya ladette, rang doctors the soonest they can fit me in is 9am tom morning, i said well have you not got anything today, she said well tom morning is all we have. I had a headache earlier again, but as soon as it came it went again, very odd, but my eyesight is playing up quiet a bit today.

OP posts:
ladette · 11/03/2008 18:16

poor you...I'm surprised they didn't fit you in on an emergency appointment. Sounds like you've had a better day than yesterday at least. If you take a turn for the worse and you're worried, call a doctor out. Can't believe I didn't suggest that yesterday.

pandagirl03 · 11/03/2008 18:47

well i was surprised i asked them twice for a appointment today and she just kept saying well tom morning 9am. Cant wait to get dd in bed, so i can relax a bit.
