ds aged 11 has had v&d 4 times since just before xmas. at first I thought it was a little unusual for him to get it this much, perhaps the bug was lingering or he was getting re-infected from school pals. he has it just before xmas, once in the new year, once in feb and again this weekend. However, this time he came out in a rash all over his body, quite like hives/nettle rash. after a quick call to nhs direct we were advised to take him to A&E as they were concerned he might get into breathing difficulties. he was dizzy and a little incoherent just before he left to the hospital. I gave him a dose of piriton before he left. Anyway, hospital said it could be a virus, but quite likely a food allergy. Now what do I do? Will I be able to get him tested through the nhs does anyone know?
