Physiotherapist swearing- surely this is odd?!

Went to the phsyio today. She wasn’t very helpful because she didn’t examine me or give me much useful info to take away really. However, the reason I’m posting here is her language. She was swearing SO much. Sh this and sh that. ‘You have been though sh’ and ‘the sh* you go through’ and so on. She described birth as ‘spitting a baby out’. When I asked her a reasonable question she laughed at me, albeit in a joky manner. I found the whole experience really odd. Don’t know why I’m posting, but just finding it really odd. She wasn’t being malicious at all, but it didn’t seem very professional. Just sharing because.

Very unprofessional, sorry.
I'd be inclined to find another if you can.

Definitely unprofessional, as suggested see if you can change to another one.

This is completely against their professional code of conduct which says they must be polite and considerate. I would raise a concern to their manager (via PALs if appropriate and NHS) or you can complain direct to the Health and Care Professions Council that all allied health professionals are bound by. https://www.hcpc-uk.org/concerns/raising-concerns/
