DD had her MMR three weeks ago. Week later had high temps for about 4 days. Dr dismissed it. About another week later she developed a viral type rash then few days after that a rash of tiny spots that covered her torso, face and tops of legs. I would have just put it all down to MMR BUT, DH and I are feeling terrible. Really Really achy painful eyes, achy body, fatigue and we both now have a rash on our torso. We're generally OK but by the evening feeling pretty rubbish and DD has been very unhappy. DD and I both have hacking coughs and my chest does feel sore though I've not really had a cold.
What are these weird symptoms? Could it be linked to DD's MMR and how likely is it that DH and I are both suffering too. I know it's a live vacine but does that mean she is effectively 'contagious' as it were?
