candle wax on hair

my son tipped over a candle today in a restaurant. Candle wax in hair...he is 3 and won't let me brush it out- understandably..any advice on how to remove it?

Put some brown paper over his head and iron it

....shit, no, that's clothes, not 3 year old children

If it has cooled and hardened, you should be able to just pick it out.

Do NOT iron his head whether it is covered in brown paper or not

sorry, had to laugh when I read Wilkies post. You should be able to pick it out once dry. Have you got a nit comb? That will clear any waxy residue I would have thought. Works wonders for getting glitter off the scalp!

Thanks for all your advice. Used EPADERM - kind of like vaseline and rubbed it out...long and 'emotional' experience!! Made better by Smarties during the process!!
