Neuroma after episiotomy/tear

Has anyone had a scar neuroma after an episotomy/surgery?

DD was born in Feb last year, hospital messed up sewing after a bad tear & episiotomy and I had surgery in May to fix it.

A scar neuroma has now formed, incredibly painful and I've got to have surgery at the end of the month to sort it out.

Any tips/advice very welcome please!!

I had laser surgery to take care of a episiotomy that didn't heal properly. They called it Laser Fentons, is that what you're having done?

They're having to open up the original scar under GA to remove the neuroma (apparently an open/bundle of nerves).

Was the laser good for you?

Mine was done under GA they lasered away all the dodgy skin and restitched the episiotomy. Mr Kent at RSCH did it and he was fab. Had NO problems afterwards and even have had DS2 with no problems either.

Sounds like it's something they could do for you with laser as mine was old scar tissue too. But yours sounds more serious. It's bloody painful isn't it?!?
