No, seriously I feel mega rough.

It just wont stop throbbing.

Had it out Monday all was ok till Tuesday night. I have an absess and been on a 3 day course of anti-Bs that ends today but theres been no improvement, if anything its gotton worse.

I feel like my jaws broken.

I want to get better

Me too I hate dentists... avoid them if I can .. the idea of having a tooth out would freak me out much more than giving birth...

Hugs!!

foxinsocks · 07/03/2008 11:12

I was asking about you on the other thread (which I had quite shamelessly hijacked lol).

Poor, poor you. What painkillers are you taking?

bobsyouruncle · 07/03/2008 11:12

Get back to the dentist, it shouldn't still be sore

FloraPosteschild · 07/03/2008 11:13

Disenchanted, go back to the surgery...it could be what is known as a 'dry socket' which would explain the pain. It jsut needs sorting out properly, it's something that can happen after a tooth is pulled.

You should be getting results in terms of less pain by now. I can't emphasise enough, to ring them and ask to be seen urgently.

Disenchanted · 07/03/2008 11:20

I went back on tuesday as i had gunk in there, she just cleaned it out, thats it,

i went back wednesday and sid i wanted anti-b coz its swollen and still gucky

I know theres an absess there as she told me but it doesnt seem to be going away

i will nip in today and see if she will take a look
i really dont wanna go back there though!!

Perhaps you have an abscess and dry socket both at once...

They always tell me to go back if still in pain a few days later. Seriously, I have had a few experiences of this, they know me well at the out of hours

foxinsocks · 07/03/2008 11:47

oh disenchanted, it sounds vile, you poor thing. Did you have the abcess before it came out or did that happen afterwards? Hope it all goes away soon.

PrettyCandles · 07/03/2008 11:50

When I've had to have ABs for teeth-related problems, it has always been a course of at least 7 days - never as short as 3 days. Maybe it's because I can't take penicillins? But I don't remember there being such a lack of im provement.

Poor you. yOU MUST GO BACK TO THEM.

PrettyCandles · 07/03/2008 11:51

Sorry, didn't mean to shout - baby hit the keyboard.

FloraPosteschild · 07/03/2008 11:51

I've always had at least 5 days of AB's, Pretty.
I hope she is on her way there now!

Disenchanted · 08/03/2008 11:34
