twice now, was wondering if there is anything i can give him, and also what to do about putting him to bed. He seems okay in between and no sign of diahrea, but am worried in case he's sick in his sleep and chokes on it? What to do?

give nothing but water

yes put him to bed but keep an ear out for him

sleep is probably what he needs

make breakfast dry toast and water (assuming he wants breakfast)

Agree with NannyL, give nothing unless he has a temperature.
If you're worried about him being sick maybe make him a bed up on the sofa?

louii · 06/03/2008 19:20

I would let him sleep on sofa till you are going to bed then bring him in with you so you can keep an eye on him.

thinks its norovirus actually, had a sandwich and some pre prepared melon out today and think it was maybe that. just keeps on throwing....

norovirus is just the collective term for a group of viruses that cause vomiting or diarrhea .. it is not an illness in itself

put him to bed and keep an eye .. he'll probbaly be fine after some sleep

dandycandyjellybean · 06/03/2008 20:24

oh, sorry very ignorant.... he's fine, and then has a drink of water and 10 mins later he's hurling again. should I stop giving him water?

little sips of water , straw is useful as they can't gulp. It probably looks more than it is so worth persevering to keep him hydrated. Dioralyte, flat coke or lemonade preferably chilled also good, again small sips. Sounds like a regular bug tbh.
