Chronic kidney disease/Dialysis

Hi, just wondered if anyone else feels rubbish while on dialysis.
Originally I was doing great, going to the gym etc but I had to go into hospital to get my ureter stent changed and ended up with sepsis and an acute kidney injury and since then I’m really struggling with fatigue and pain and I’ve now also been put on high blood pressure tabs.
I’ve also lost my appetite and hoping I just need time to recover.

Sorry I can’t give you any advice on the dialysis question but DH is on the transplant list and is Stage 5 kidney disease. He is absolutely shattered at intervals during the day , as for late evening he is in bed by 7.30 as he can’t stay awake any longer . Absolutely minimal salt intake and healthy non processed food helps him get through each day . Plenty of water too . Luckily he has no swelling , he is a decent weight , albeit he has lost muscle mass , but he is tired most of the day . Hope you feel better soon OP 🤗

Thank you for replying, I hope your husband gets his transplant soon and it isn’t easy feeling rubbish all the time. I’m lucky in that I don’t have any food or fluid restrictions. It can’t be easy for you either seeing how your husband will have deteriorated over time.
