Hi I’ve had my braces on coming up 2 years in December. I was told they would be on for 17 months and each visit been told a new deadline. To begin with I was meant to see her every 4-6 weeks but this quickly changed to every other month and then sometimes 3-4 months. This is due to her only having a few patients at my dentist and being based in London whilst I’m in Cambridge. I was never told this at the beginning. I paid a fair amount to begin with and pay £100 every visit. My last visit she told me she will only come back once more in November and then she’s moving. My teeth are nowhere near finished, due to her lack of visits. My front teeth are now not even in the centre of my face. She’s taken a new job in another country knowing she’s still got me as an unfinished patient. I’m with an nhs dentist and she worked from there. What can I do about this?
