I know Mumsnet isn't the best place to ask but I have to wait until tomorrow to speak to the doctor regarding my recent blood test results and I am freaking out a bit so hoping there might be a GP here who can help ease my anxiety!
Renal profile came back with all levels fine except my serum creatinine which is 91 umol/L (normal range 45-84).
Liver test I got three normal tests and two abnormal - Serum ALT is 37 U/L (average is 10-35) and AST Serum is 39 U/L (0-35).
Is this bad? I know they aren't abnormally high but it is worrying! I drink but not excessively - although in the weeks before my blood test it was my wedding and birthday so have drunk more than normal this month. No alcohol in the four days before the test.
I am also on a week's course of metronidazole for BV - I read this could affect the results?
I'm normal weight, height etc.
I hate how they make you wait to talk to a GP as I'm going to be stressed all weekend now :(
If anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated!
