Dh is having an xray because of his breathlessness

We found out about 3 months or so ago, that dh has secondaries in the Lungs and that these have produced some fluid.

He's been having bouts of breathlessness over the last few weeks, so we have an appointment for an X ray at 3

Good news is that if it is fluid they can drain it, not nice but it would help him.

Bad news is that this might mean that the secondary treatment he is on has stopped working.

We know what the end game is going to be, but this all just makes it a little harder to cope with somehow. Brings it all back to the front of your mind

Fluid!

Thank goodness.

Not a clot, not significant tumour growth.

they will drain the fluid as an outpatient (with luck) on Monday.

Doc does not want to stop treatment , but due to side effects will be reducing dose (which dh and I had already worked out)
