just having a little break reading Top Sante and there it was...

'Some of us are born with a 'tempation gene' that makes us more likely to succumb to our desires - such as a chocolate cake.'

Now off to find that elusive piece of chocolate cake that's hiding at the back of my fridge

By the way - if you naturally have a very sweet tooth, taking a daily supplement of chromium is supposed to help. i din't think much of it at first but have been taking it for 4 days and my choccie cravings have gone right down and am finding it so easy to stay off sweet stuff. Unfortunately it does nothing for cravings of pizza, crisps, cheese etc !

Even reading this thread has made me want chocolate.

MrsBigDrumsADrumming · 16/12/2004 14:38

actually nothing wrong with chocolate... when I was pg with ds I read a Skandinavian report on how women who ate chocolate regularly during pregnancy had more contented babys...

might only be anecdotal but it worked for me!

well I put it to the test and ... ds is a very content baby. In comparison... whilst pg with dd I went completely off chocolate (couldn't stand the sight smell or taste of it) and she was baby from hell...
