Elbow pain - who to see?

2 months ago I banged my elbow. It hurt a lot and I expected it to bruise badly but there has never been any bruising or swelling.
The pain is constant, gets worse depending on position and at times feels like there is a nail sticking in my elbow. It is affecting my grip making many tasks very difficult eg lifting objects or using scissors and this is my dominant hand so I'm struggling with work, housework etc.
I have tried using elbow supports and painkillers but nothing has worked so far. I'm starting to think this isn't going to get better on its own but who do I need to see? Would you take this painful elbow to the GP, a physiotherapist, a walk in centre or someone else?

I had that, went to the GP first for steroid injections. Probably first port of call?
