What does it feel like if your blood sugar drops too low?

My son is diabetic. He feels poorly - spaced out, trembly, sweaty, goes pale. If he is left without speedy help he risks passing out and going into a fit then a coma.
not nice!

dh is diabetic and his symptoms are as bramblebooks describes.

He will get the shakes and will collapse within an hour or so if he doesn't eat. He has to have an injection if this happens to bring him round.

And before it gets so bad? Are there any 'warnings'?

BTW, thjanks for the replies!

I feel spaced out, weak, shaky, bad tempered and confused to the point where i start talking complete crap!

Sounds like me after a few particularly bad nights from ds2!

OK, so the low mood swings I'm getting together with fuzzy thinking are probably due to sugar levels going wrong. Thanks. I shall have to look to my diet (surprise surprise).

Neither. I just wondered whether my emotions could be related to my food, and it seemed simpler to ask this way.
