Wind or something more serious (DS 10wks)

DS has a bit of a cold and this afternoon (since 5pm) he's been crying a lot, he screamed after his bath (unusual) but settled whilst taking his bottle of expressed milk. When the bottle was finished he was screaming again, I winded him but still really screaming. I went downstairs where he then brought back up the whole bottle but was still crying. Have managed to settle him with a dummy and walking round the room and now I'm sitting down holding him tightly, however as soon as I try to put him down he starts screaming and bringing his knees upto his chest, he also screams more if I offer him a breastfeed.

He hasnt behaved like this before, I think its trapped wind so was going to give him infacol - will it still work if it's after the feed? (The instructions say give 1 hr before feed). I gave him 2.5ml of calpol at 7.30 as he was just inconsolable.

He was in hospital for first 2 wks of his life due to an infection and that experience has left be really paranoid.

Poor little man.
Your not being paranoid just a good mum.
Could it be really bad trapped wind?My ds used to get it bad big time and he did what your describing.
How is he now?

Sounds like colic, try rubbing his stomach, this should help. Is he still screaming? has he done a dirty nappy?
