Wisdom tooth

Hi everyone

A bit of a random post but my anxiety is at it's all time peak right now

I'm due to get one wisdom tooth removed (Bottom right hand side) on Monday

I was just wondering if anyone has had any positive experiences or tips

So far I've only heard horror stories and it's only exacerbating my anxiety

@AnonymousJM thank you the first one was awful that was 5 weeks ago and I need other 3 out causing me grief ! Did you have pain before the removal to the tooth or neighbouring teeth

But once it's done
You won't have to deal with that tragic pain anymore!

So my tooth pain was actually activated in my sleep
(I grind my teeth sometimes)
So I'm guessing that doing that was really putting pressure on the abscess

During the day I was fine
The odd pain here and there but nothing unbearable

However when I did get the tooth pain it would last ages!

Thankfully I went into my appointment with no tooth pain

That would be a whole different experience I'm assuming

@AnonymousJM i grind my teeth too ! My dentist scared me the other day saying it could bone removal and hun cutting and stitches so it didn’t paint a great picture at all.

@HungryWisdom did yours hurt before the removal

I know mouth guards are supposed to be ideal

@AnonymousJM id give birth again honestly the two times I did it was nothing compared to this pain. Yes he said bone removal and stitches if the gum is cut to take the tooth out. I went to private dentist as my nhs wanted to fil the wisdom

not even eating and a nervous wreck

Dental pain is horrible
Hence why a lot of people have a huge phobia of the dentist!

My dad seems to think that because I had a c section with my twins
I can take on anything

I'd rather have 10 more c sections then go through what I went through on Monday!

I'm not surprised your anxious!

Try to take it slow
And think of the outcome afterwards!
No more horrific pain 😭

It will be worth it
