Tightening sensation on shoulder blade

Hi, I'm getting a very odd intermittent tightening sensation on my right shoulder blade. It's not painful, but it's irritating and distracts me when trying to do things. Any one experienced similar ? It comes and goes , sometimes won't have it for hours and then have it happening lots in the space of a short space of time.

Could you possibly be pregnant? Shoulder pain can be an ectopic pregnancy symptom.

I did wonder but I've just come on my period , plus no other symptoms of pregnancy. It's not a pain as such , my muscle tightens , it feels like it washes over my shoulder blade . Worried it's neurological

It might be worth doing a pregnancy test and/or consulting your Dr. Unexplained shoulder pain can definitely be a symptom of ectopic. It is possible to continue periods also. If pregnancy is at all a possibility then it is worth getting checked out.
