Hey everyone. As some of you might know I have terrible HA. Like for years but the thing is that it gets triggered and could last ages & I’ll literally diagnose myself with everyone & anything 🙄😢
any advice or tips at all about how to calm it or treat it? I feel since I had my baby it’s also heightened it.
anything at all would be very much appreciated - thanks! :)

I would say I’ve suffered with this since about 2017. I am now much better but I completely feel your pain and do still suffer occasionally.
I used to have a disease of the month and would focus on it so much.
I found CBT very helpful and actually signed up to an NHS online course. They teach you tips and tricks of how to distract your mind.
I also found my love for podcasts. I’m a big true crime fan so it allowed me to put my mind into a different world.

Also, talk, talk, talk. Talk to anyone who will listen. You get a lot of different outlooks on illness and learn that you’re not the only one who’s worried about stuff - we just may take our worries to the extreme a bit.

I know how debilitating it is, so if you’d prefer to private message, please do. An outsider can be really helpful.

Always remember, it’s health anxiety that’s your illness and the affects it can have on your physical health are insane!
