Tongue tie in an adult?

Thanks to MN I have realised that this is the reason I can't stick my tongue out properly!

Can you get it snipped as an adult? Would it be worth it?

Yes you can, under local anaesthetic. An oral surgeon would do it; a dentist once offered to snip mine.

Whether or not it's worth it is entirely up to you. Do you find it a major disadvantage not to be able to stick your tongue out?!

Well, er, (knew I should've namechanged) I thought maybe for blowjob/snogging purposes it might be advantageous to get it snipped?

No complaints or anything, just my vague idea.

I have a tongue tie too ( we should form a club) and I have had no complaints from DH . Hellish at the dentist though.
