Started Tamoxifen three and a half years ago. Came off it after eight months because of joint pain, bloating, weight gain, constant palpitations and regular bouts of very low mood. Symptoms all disappeared. A few months later I gave it another go and things were much better so I've stayed on it for nearly three years constantly. My periods were light but regular until four months ago when they just stopped. Since then my joint pain is back, my hips and coccyx are so sore. My stomach is very bloated. I get palpitations constantly. But worse of all is that I feel constantly very low and jittery inside, like there's no hope left. This doesn't feel like living.
I already take 100mg of Lustral to stop the hot flushes. I really think Tamoxifen is causing all this and perhaps I should just stop? Has anyone else experienced something similar and did stopping Tamoxifen help?
