NICE is advertising for a lay member to join a guidelines committee. It reads like a great opportunity for someone to put their hard-won knowledge to good use and to benefit other people and families. (I've had family affected by this and know how much these committees benefit from the input of people with recent experience of living through this themselves or helping family.)
We’re looking for people (adults aged 18 and above) with experience of renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) and understanding of the issues important to patients, people using services or unpaid carers.
We are interested in hearing from patients or carers who have experience of any stage of kidney cancer (for example, early and/or locally advanced, or advanced or metastatic cancer)
