Do your baby's eyelids have very obvious veins visible?

Please have a look and reassure me! My son's are very red, like those photos of foetuses in the womb - all veiny and translucent.

He is very fair though, is this normal?

Most of them do, it's because the skin's thin.

My dd - 8 weeks does - especially after she's had a tearful day.

Thankyou, that's alright then.

Sometimes he does look so little and soft.

My DS (5) has obvious bluey veins on his eyelids. He is extremely happy about his resemblance to spiderman. I had been a bit worried so thanks NN.
