Can anyone help me with these thyroid blood results?

Hi, I'm a bit confused about my thyroid blood results. Can anyone shed some light? I've been told they're fine and nothing needs to be done, but I'm not feeling great lately. Sleeping excessively, hair thinning, feeling depressed. GP thinks it's just mental health issues, and I have had a very stressful year, but could my thyroid be leaning towards underactive?

My T4 is very slightly low, but was put down as "satisfactory" no action needed. But to me it looks like it's not far off hypothyroidism?

TSH - 3.58 (ref 0.5 - 4.68)
Free T4 - 11.4 (ref 11.5 - 22.7)

Google "NHS CKS Hypothyroidism" and have a read. Then sign up for Health Unlocked and find the Thyroid UK forum. Those people saved my life ten years ago.

Your FT4 is below range so your FT3, which wasn't tested, will also be low, giving rise to your symptoms. You are not imagining this.

GP needs to be more pro-active.

Thank you. I have had a look at the NHS guidelines. It seems they don't treat thyroid issues until the figures are much further out than mine? As the T4 is only out by 0.1 and my TSH is in range, I can't imagine the GP will want to do very much until it gets bad enough?? Which means I have to keep getting worse. How frustrating.
