Blocked ear abroad and travelling home tomorrow

So I'm currently in lanzarote and Fri pm I noticed that my left ear was blocked like when you get water in it. I had limited hearing in it. I spent the night trying to unblock with no luck so sat morning I went to the oval
Pharmacy and they gave me some drops and an ear flush to use, she assured me it would clear up within 3 days. I'm now on day 3 and fly home tomorrow morning and said ear is still blocked. I'm so obviously worried about flying. Has anyone experienced this and how bad was the flight?
I am following the directions of treatment and will continue it through today and tomorrow morning until we fly. Is there anything I can do? If it helps when I perform the movement of holding my nose and blowing out my ears it does make a small popping noise but my ears still feel full and I still have muffled hearing in that ear.

opticians that sell hearing aids often do suctioning (for a fee)

ask at hotel reception.

There isn't one near the resort I'm staying at unfortunately. I think the nearest maybe in the main city areecife or most services appear to be over in fuerteventura

Yes this happened to me in April, on the way back from Greece. Flight was absolutely fine , no issues whatsoever . If anything I was hoping pressure changes might help move the water .

However, the fullness/deafness took over a week to resolve .......Was never so grateful for my hearing !!!

Little update. Landed earlier and I'm fine. I did buy ear plugs at the airport (the ones for flying) and had no pain at all. Was weird though.
Will book in at dr tomorrow tho as it hasn't improved.
@FoodieToo I was also hoping it would rectify 🤣 alas it didn't. Just glad I was pain free and no worse.
@indecisivewoman81 I hope your ears are good for the flight. I would recommend buying some ear plugs as a precaution tomorrow x
