Steristrips/ butterfly stitches not coming off

I cut myself about 2 weeks ago and had to go to urgent care when it didn't stop bleeding after 12 hrs and the docs glued it up and stuck it with steristrips.
Some of the steristrips have come off but there are a few still really stuck on & loads of glue/dead skin under it. Anyone got any advice on whether/ how to get it off? Or had similar & can share when theirs came off? It's on my finger and keeps catching on things. I've tried soaking it but no joy.

You could try a medical adhesive remover product, although I’m assuming they are stuck to the glue, rather than it being the steri strip gum being stubborn, so it might not work. Can you trip the bit that’s catching?

I would just cut them close and leave them be

Oil is good at removing glue. Try massaging a little oil into the strips. They should eventually loosen. Use a massage oil or cleansing oil or even a little light olive oil.

Thank you all! I've finally got them off.
