Most unlike me to go all fainty. Was out on a cattle training course and felt really sick and ears started going deaf and humming. Desperately made myself stay upright - didnt want to make an arse of myself.

Only had one meal yesterday due to being at hospital with eye problems. Couldnt manage much breakfast this am but I did have cheese and crackers just before I went out for course.

I'm now desperately stuffing food in self before go out in 15 minutes o help at school.

Anything else I can do - I'm guessing its prbably low blood sugar even thgouh did have cheese and crackers. Still feel rather faint

Have a hot cup of sweet tea

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/02/2008 12:39

good idea - have just had cup of tea and choc biscuit (as well as mini sausages and couscous - I know, I know, twas the most instant thing I could think of) It was really embarrassing I wanted to ask a question at the training and did but it sounded like my voice was coming down from a deep tunnel.
Got 7 minutes to feel better. aargh!

Sometimes the blood sugar can recover but leave you with low blood pressure, so have some caffieney drink, and a lie down with your feet up!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 27/02/2008 22:15

thanks shrooms. Thats worth knowing. Still feel slightly faintish around the edges. Maybe its just stress catching up. Also went onto steroid eye drops yesterday - I dunno if that would have an effect.
Went to a friends after school, shes a nurse and did my blood pressure. It seemed ok, perhaps a bit high but I dont know how calibrated her thingy is - 126/89. I'm borderline underweight and at doctors its usually 110/70 or 120/80. Probably best if I take friends reading with big pinch of salt. She and nother friend did comment that I looked really pale.

ah well, its all to easy to over dwell on these things - bodies are strange sometimes and I#m sure its just one of those things.
