I’ve got an infection on tooth as it showed on dental X-ray. I’ve had a pimple like spot in that area, brushed my teeth and it’s burst!!! Do I need urgent antibiotics as I’m worried now. It’s not hurting. I’ve got dentist Monday at 12.

Sounds like an abscess.

Keep doing salty mouth rinses to keep the area clean. You should be okay as long as you feel well in yourself. No temp, no swelling and no pain in the area.
If you start to feel unwell definitely contact someone.

I had an abscess on the tooth I need a root canal on and as I had no pain from the abscess and it was constantly draining itself I didn't need antibiotics whilst I waited for my root canal treatment.

I have a lump on my gum that goes up and down. Dentist says it’s a fistula caused by a dead root.
It doesn’t generally hurt and it comes up maybe twice a year. I pop it with a cotton bud dipped in antiseptic mouth wash and then clean it regularly.
It doesn’t generally bother me

Hi Op, this happened to me while waiting for root canal, the dentist was ok just wait and see me later in the week.

TMI but it may just keep refilling and popping.

You'll be ok til Monday unless you're in a lot of pain. Just try to keep clean.

I have the same, a fistula from an underlying bone infection. Small painless whitish dot on the gum below my 4/5th lower left tooth.

I pop it more or less daily. Dentist said that apart from serious, expensive surgery, live with it.
