Spot on breast should I be worried?

Noticed this spot today on my breast. It isn’t painful and is about 2/3cm total with redness. When pricked only blood came out. Should i be worried about this?

No idea what it is but given the location I'd check it it with a doctor just to be on the safe side.

Draw a line round the red but with a sharpie or similar, if it's spreading you might need antibiotics.

Is it warmer than the rest of your skin?

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 27/07/2023 20:58

Wash it with salt water and hold the warm wash cloth on it for about 5 mins. Cover it with Sudocrem or Savlon or similar and see what it looks like it the morning. GP of worse. Personally I think it looks like a spot you've picked but I'm not a medic.

Ouch that looks sore! Drawing a line round is a good shout. Get it seen to as soon as you can in case it spreads.

It isn’t painful or hot to touch, I will keep an eye on it over the weekend and see a GP if it’s still there incase it is anything sinister/to be worried about, Thankyou everyone:)

I once had an ingrown hair on my breast that looked like this. It was infected. I'd get it checked in case you need antibiotics
