Dear All, my lo is 16 months old and had her mmr jab postponed at end of December due to her being poorly. Doctors have now advised that she is due to have this. My family are advising me not to have it done and to have the single vaccines done, which I am led to belive cost a lot and my doctors have already advised that they do not do the single vaccines. Can you please advise of your thoughts on the mmr jab (apologies if I am opening a can of worms) and what the side effects are so I can be prepared.

As far as I know there is no evidence that single vaccines are safer than MMR. Can you ask your family to direct you to some information that this is the best option?
