Does this look like skin cancer?

I’ve had a bit of health anxiety lately so am not sure if I’m being overly anxious here, or whether it’s something that actually does need looking at. I’ve had a mole/spot in front of my ear for a little while - if I pick at it it will bleed, but I’m not sure if it’s just a mole or scar, or something more serious. I’ll make an appointment anyway but would really appreciate your views on whether I’m being over the top or if it’s genuinely a cause for concern. It’s not a great photo tbh.

My DD had something that looked just like this for over a year. Hers was just a type of wart that left alone eventually disappeared, but it took about 18 months.

No one can say by looking at a pic OP.

I have had quite a lot of stage 2 squamous cut out, and some of the other more nasty looking ones were not cancerous at all.

Make the appointment and they will do a biopsy if concerned.

In the meantime, try not knock it or pick at it.
