What are these marks on my eyes? *pic*

I've had a host of weird symptoms over the last few months.

  • tiredness (I mean more like extreme fatigue)
  • body feels like it's vibrating all over
  • sore joints/stiff fingers

I've had a full blood count and nothing concerning, now low iron and low Vitamin D has now been rectified.

Doctor has said she doesn't know, the rheumatologist didn't want to see me and to go back in a few weeks if I'm still the same. I still keep getting marks on my eyes that look like the attached. Any ideas?

Have you been rubbing your eyes more due to tiredness?

MetforminTrumpsBeware · 17/07/2023 12:19

And on the top, they are more purple coloured in real life

@Circumferences No, they usually are very prominent when I wake up. My other half commented on them before I'd even woken up properly the other day.

Mine get these if I have been rubbing them a lot - tiredness, allergy, hayfever etc

Sounds like maybe it’s something auto-immune, which generally need more specific testing, rather than your usual blood test.

I suggest you keep a diary of your symptoms to see if you can find any patterns (it could be worse when you set something particula, or at a certain point in your cycle).
In the meantime try and eat healthily and exercise a bit if you can.

@Anyonebut my Dr did say it sounds autoimmune actually. I'm a bit stumped how to progress it further though if the rheumatologist doesn't think he needs to see me. I'm so tired :(
