£10,973.46p

MaureenMLove · 25/02/2008 13:18

Have you actually been putting the money away or is it an estimate?

CanterburyTaLcS · 25/02/2008 13:20

30,000

Saturn74 · 25/02/2008 13:20

If you're anything like me, the answer is probably about £2.45

I spend the equivalent amount of money on chocolate instead!

GryffinGirl · 25/02/2008 13:23

'bout £8k?

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 25/02/2008 13:31

I estimate it to be £14,819.

If I include DH, who gave up a few months after me but who smoked more, then Talcs guess wouldn't be far off. Incredible.

And no, Maureen I didn't put the money away. But can you imagine the size of the money box if I had!

That's outstanding.
I gave up Oct 2006...not sure what i've spent it all on.

MaureenMLove · 25/02/2008 13:40

Bet you wish you had now!

I'm thinking about it now. Don't know why I bother smoking at all really. I don't smoke all day up until about 8pm and I generally fall asleep at about 10! I don't smoke when I go out anymore either. Can't be arsed to leave the conversation and go and get cold outside! I might get myself a bottle and put the money in there instead.

southeastastra · 25/02/2008 13:41

wow! i'm on patches atm, just hoping i don't get addicted to them forever

filthymindedvixen · 25/02/2008 13:41

Humph - i just met your lovely dh!!

bellavita · 25/02/2008 13:46

One of the mums at school stopped smoking a while back and the cigarette money she and DH spent goes straight to the building society to pay extra off the mortgage. They now have less than two years to go and will be mortgage free.

filthymindedvixen · 25/02/2008 13:49

Why is it so very much harder to give up smoking when you are really stressed though - especially when money i
s part of that stress....?

Saturn74 · 25/02/2008 15:15

FMV - so I heard!
