Sitting here two days after a seizure in. a haze

Can crash dieting (still eating but little) and possibly not drinking enough fluid cause a seizure? I had an alcohol related seizure 10 years ago and fully gave up alcohol. I have had a daughter since and never touched a drop. I'm trying to make sense from a tonic clonic seizure I had on Friday. Feel like my life has suddenly been turned.upside down and praying it was a one off episode after possibly doing too much and not eating and drinking enough.

Are you absolutely sure it was a seizure? Lack of food/fluid would cause low blood pressure and low blood sugar, which could easily cause a "deep" faint, which can look very similar to a seizure.
