I have very elevated liver funtion results which showed up on my over 40s health check. I was ref for an urgent ultra sound.
My GP has reviewed the results and said the following
Over extended gallbladder – half filled with sludge
intrahepatic dilation
tiny calculi
Very significantly dilated CBD with no cause for obstruction
could not see pancreas on scan.
He has now ref me for an urgent referal at the hospital, should I be concerned. Until very very recently (after the blood tests) I feelt fine. Recently I have been feeling bloated and feeling sick, along with a bit of admonal discomfort. Which I think is worry related with regards to this an the fact my Dad has cancer and another family member has just died of cancer very young.
I am now very worried due to the urgent referal.
