Do children normally get a bit of a cold with Chicken Pox?

My dd (17 months)has had really bad nappy rash for 2 days and everything I am doing cant shift it (any ideas?).

She has also had a bit of a cold.

This morning I have let her run about without a nappy on to get some air to her bits. Anyway - her vest ended up a bit wet so i have cleaned her up, but a dry nappy on and was giving her a cuddle and felt some little bumps on her back. On closer inspection there are quite a few over her back and on her neck (none anywhere else).

A few weeks ago my eldest dd had shingles.

What do you reckon?

Yes deffo. My 2 did and were a bit grumpy leading up to it too.

The child I look after had the same reaction. Thought it was a cold/temp thing then bamb, out come the spots.
