My 15months old DD has developed a rash (bumply and red) on her thighs... it has now spread to her lower back and bottom cheeks.
I have never had this before.
DD1 had slap cheeks last week and had a bad rash on her forearms... could this be linked ?
My DD2 has nothing on her face...

Can anyone shed some light?
Thanks

This sounds like a rash ds1 had last year - apparently it was "Viral" but he had all the symptoms of slapped cheek. It didn't show up on his face - more on his pants area, feet and legs.

Sounds like that too... and she has no other symptoms... happy in herself, no fever, plenty of appetite. A runny nose but so have we all!

a viral rash typically has a white 'halo' around each individual spot (you might have to look closely to spot it).

My DD2 gets viral rashes without any symptoms every now and then - sometimes they turn up a week or so after a bad cold or other type of virus.

If she is happy in herself then that can only be a good thing I think.

There is no halo and the rash is now on the arms... but she is still happy
