41yo mum of 3DC, eldest doesn't live at home, other two are 12 and 16.

The past 2 weeks or so I've been feeling generally unwell. Coughing, sore throat, achy, weak, shaky dizzy. No appetite, lost about half a stone, maybe more.

I went back to work last night and was home shortly after as I just felt shit, dizzy. Hot and clammy, shaky.

I have a GP appt later.

Work is stressful. But it's a stressful job anyway (neonatal intensive care nurse!) but more recently we have been dangerously short staffed to the point at times I've been looking after 4 ITU patients.

I felt ok yesterday hence going back to work. I feel ok this morning, maybe a bit weak and shaky, but haven't eaten yet.

I last worked a full
Shift last tues day, rung in sick for thurs Friday nights,

Have I just not taken enough time off to recoop and recover? Or does this sound like work related anxiety?

It sounds like covid/long covid

But with unexplained weight loss as well, then yes you should see a GP, and get a full blood count done (as a minimum, GP might want to run further tests in addition)
